Screenshot Saturday: Wuthering Waves
If screenshots say a 1,000 words, this is a pretty long post.

I’ve lost my one-day lead. Rather than writing today for tomorrow, I’ve been writing today for today — and yesterday I was just two minutes shy of writing today for yesterday.

Enter ye olde ‘screenshot-to-avoid-writing-too-much post’. Been a while since I busted out one of these. But you know what? … No, never mind, I got nothing. I just want to.

So now, I’m simply looking to keep up.

Wuthering Waves’ latest patch? Actually very good.

Phrolova’s story was not only interesting in its own right, but drove forward our understanding of the main character. We’ve long known that there is a history to which we, as players, are unaware.

Now tidbits have been dropped, seeds planted, and hopefully, what’s to come will bring it all together.

What interests me most is where these threads are pointing. To date, the main character has been fairly typical gacha hero fair — which is to say, perfect in all respects. The type who would risk it all to avoid the sacrifice of even a single individual — and pull it off.

But beneath it all, there are cracks.

Certainly, at least, in who the MC used to be.

As a couple of closing bonuses:

  1. Bhaguss’ post on the 2.5 patch
  2. Kuro recently released a very anime ‘To the Finale’ trailer, giving a bit of a tease as to the rest of the Rinascita (2.x) storyline.

I have to imagine this is showing at least the next couple of patches, and Rinascita won’t jump from where we are to here in a single patch, but time will tell!
