Imposter Factory Drops a New Trailer

For instance — I had no idea that Kan Gao also dropped a more jokey ‘It’s just a dream’ style trailer for Finding Paradise (aka ‘2 the Moon’, lol).
In fact that trailer is essentially the same composition as Imposter Factory’s first trailer except with Neil and Eva’s roles reversed as the ‘dreamer’ of the sequence. I’ll get out of your way for a moment to link the new trailer though — this is the ‘proper’ trailer as it were, and gives more of a focus to the actual story being told. Although — I am sure; especially after looking back at Finding Paradise’s ‘proper’ trailer — not without a number of intentional misleads.
Some big events shown in there! And some interesting clues, too.
There is a wedding (real? Rewritten memory? By/for whom?). The heart monitor at the beginning of each of the trailers goes off the rails a bit in this one. The shadow following at the heels of what I assume to be the story’s protagonist. Oh- and a cosmic scale tentacle beast.
Although with how mostly grounded the story’s Kan tells with these games and some of the hints in the specific wording used, I think we can be fairly safe in believing this to be more metaphorical in nature. A threat to an individual’s world, rather than a literal threat to all of Earth.
This is an older tweet from Kan, and it came to mind again in the context of Imposter Factory and trying to determine what the thrust of this one will be.
If you hadn’t seen the earlier trailers, prepare for a few in a row as together they certainly paint an interesting picture!

Finding Paradise (To the Moon 2) Play-Along Sign-Up
Yep! After a bit of a gap since the To the Moon Play-Along, I think it’s time to kick-off for those that might be interested the Finding Paradise Play-Along, in advance of Imposter Factory being with us later in the year.
Tentatively I’m thinking of kicking this off in September with a similar 4-part structure over 4-weeks; this would give it a start after Blaugust Promptapalooza is over to ensure there is a little bit more clear air.
I’ll do a post a little more dedicated to this at some point I’m sure, but if you have any feedback on how the first round went and wish to suggest any changes or considerations for this one, have at it!
Otherwise, here’s the sign-up form!
