The countdown on the Hollow Knight Silksong struck zero while I slept last night. One friend was so convinced it was a shadowdrop (no clue where he got that idea from), he stayed up to crazy o’clock.
I received some less-than-pleasant messages upon awaking. Very weird.
Anyway.
At the end of this particular yellow brick road was… Dun dun duuuuun.

I liked it, but from the verbiage my friend used, it seems like it is best received when one is well rested.
There is a solid epic-journey feel, with the travel always being west to east or upward. The combat looks stunning too. 40 bosses to boot!
Oh, and, while no shadowdrop — we did get a release date, and it’s soon.
